1) Moi Piia! Let’s get started! In your first novel the main character Elias thinks few times about humans being in somehow like machines. Whence did you get this idea?

To be honest? It’s been my own thought. I just wanted to write it down in somehow, and so I gave Elias this Idea. Seemingly it fits to him, don’t you think so?

2) Of course. Now that we’re talking about Elias: How did you came up with this character?

Well, to be honest I didn’t come up at all. I was just writing and writing and writing and then this guy revealed himself.

3) How much Elias are you?

Hm, a little at least. It’s not my thought about this love-thing, but most ideas such as the machine-stuff, how he depends to freak out heavily when the illness reveals itself and stuff. As well some of his illnesses, yeah.

4) Was it a hard thing to find a partner that fits so perfect to Elias?

To be honest? I don’t really think they fit together in anyway. I just took a guy I saw on street and wanted him to be in my story. I didn’t know his name so I called him Roy, and I gave him a character. That’s all. I wanted such a guy in my story, so I gave him the relationship with Elias.

5) Actually, How do we have to pronounce Elias?

Not in the english way. In the nordic way, so the E is pronounced like an E and not like an I.

6) Could you imagine writing Fan Fictions?

Yep, I did once. But I don’t want it anymore, that’s just it. I hate coupling guys and make them gay if they’re hetero at all. So it’s better creating gays, not?

7) Could you imagine being a professional author once?

Well, that’s what I want man! I could imagine gaining it once, but for being honest I want to be a psychiatrist one day. So I want to be an author and a psychiatrist.

8) When you read stories by other authors, what are you looking for?

I’m looking for grammar and style of writing, as well as the spelling. Story and nice characters and stuff. I’m looking after a bunch of things.

9) One Island. Three Things and Three Persons. (One to make you laugh, one famous one for doing ~sexytime, and one you couldn’t live without.)

One to make me laugh: My Lovely Cousin and his husband. They count as one person. <3
Sextime: George Clooney!!!  ; And the third one would be my Bestie.
Things? My iPod, my Lap Top and my Lindqvist-Books.

10) Did a story inspire you so much that you always have to think about it when you write a new story?

Yep. Människohamn by John Ajvide Lindqvist. Check it out!

11) As few may know you love to swear. Your favorite words?

I swear most time in finish. My favorite word is ‘Vittu’, often ‘Voi vittua’. But as well I like the classic stuff so as: Fuck!

12) At the end of an interview you can always write something you want to: Adverts, Plans, Loveletters or declarations of love, whatever. Feel free:

Scott Barnes, I love you.
